Hello, I’m here with Dianne Thiele from a wonderful favourite addiction of mine is a retail shoe outlet in the heart of Marlborough Hartwell Shoes. Hello, hello, thank you for doing this. I’m very, very well. Now you’ve had quite an experience, you’re part of the retail trader’s program that has been so generously provided to the community from Central Goldfields Shire. Tell me what was it that attracted you to come and join this programme through the Shire, and Navii digital to upskill.

I just felt that I had some gaps in that area and not a lot of understanding of the back end and how things operate. And I just thought this was a wonderful opportunity to be able to upskill myself and gain confidence and just get a good general knowledge of how it all operates and works together. Because it’s such a fast-paced environment that you need to be on it all the time because it just changes so quickly.

It just changes so quickly. And I’m so excited for you. Because you’ve got I mean, just go have a look at HartwellShoes.com.au You’ve had a bit of a cleaner business in a country town and the successful business to that. But moving forward now, in this journey, how have you found having your assets in this Digital Engagement Health Check (TM)? We had a half-day training session yesterday and now one on one mentoring? Can you kind of tell us what this experience has been like so far.

I found the health check on all my digital presences really helpful. Like you know, there’s so much information in there things that you wouldn’t even think about unless you know, really well trained in this area. So it’s given me a lot of points that are you know, that I need to work on polish up. The one-on-one training has been absolutely phenomenal, like just brilliant. And she’s just such a brilliant, trainer. And the group training was wonderful. It’s great to collaborate and meet other businesses working together and to walk away from that, actually, knowing that we’re going to be able to work together in the future and collaborate moving forward.

So music to my year, it was really I mean, we were we had a workshop yesterday, but it was great to see it’s an opportunity to come together you’ve known of each other, but to be in a room and get to know each other and extend that in smart collaborations in what we can do online to raise our community profile. I really loved seeing that come to fruition in the training yesterday. Now there’s still an opportunity for businesses in the Shire to come on board and join this programme. What would you say to anyone that seen this? And said, I don’t have the time.

I’d say make the time. It’s invaluable and you know it no cost, I mean, where are so you’re gonna get that opportunity. It’s really quality training and the reports are just, you know, brilliant for someone to actually go through and have a look at your digital presence. It’s just really, really helpful not to say rush in and do it because you can’t afford to.
